gas remote control car?
i got this gas remote control car, i don't know what type it is made by HPI. when i jump start with the battery and pull on the pull starter, as soon as the engine starts up it starts to rev really high and it sounds like it's going to explode. help. how much would it cost to have it repaired at a hobby store. thanks
HPI is a good brand, top of the line, your just out of adjustment on the servos, take it to your local hobby shop have them explain the ins and outs to you, they'll be more than happy to help, they love new blood and will even sell you the new parts your going to need after you wreck it, Oh yes YOUR GOING TO WRECK IT. dont trip parts are cheap.

Just needs a simple carb cleaning and tune… I can't imagine your local hobby shop charging you more than $25 to do it… they want you as a returning customer. Call around to hobby shops in your area, tell them your issue and they'll tell you an approximate cost to fix. Then, you choose which one to take it to. Watch what they do, so you learn how to do it yourself in the future.

almost forgot, check the throttle trim on the controller, make sure it's not turned all the way up.
