need help getting into the hobby of remote control cars?

ive just gotten a losi micro t for christmas :D , and i really want to get in the hobby or remote control cars. but the thing is none of the websites are telling me anything , i mean what if my losi micro t breaks? yeah there is a troubleshooting manual but i dont know what a gear mesh is and i dont want to break my car trying to fix it. there is a hobby shop kind of near but i dont think he does much electric cars. thanks

Your micro T should've come with a parts explosion and parts list. The micro t is the easiest vehicle to learn about RC. I included a link to the pdf of the exploded view/parts list for the micro t. Also, www.teamlosi.com has several ways to get help, but my personal opinion would be to call Pacific Coast Hobbies in Lomita, California. They are all serious racers, and they are very knowledgable. Theo is the owner, and their number is 310)-530-7127. If you need help with something, they'll help you figure it out, and if you need to replace a part, he'll ship it to just about anywhere in the world.

any hobby shop should be able to answer all of your questions and tell you the right things to do. If you need a specific part your hobby shop can order it for you. if your looking to get a bigger r/c, i would suggest getting a Traxxas Rustler. that was my first r/c and it's the best beginner kit on the market. not to mention that Traxxas has the best customer support.
