Whatsa good website to buy gas powered RC cars?

This kid in my neighborhood has one and it has all these different mods on it and its freaking fast , Id like to buy one, and I was wondering if some one could give me a few sites to go to so I can buy one and start customizing it

The best place that I know of to look is www.towerbobbies.com You want to look for Traxxas, HPI, Associated, Losi, or Kyosho. Stay away from Radio Shack, Walmart, or big box stores like that. If you want a good one, get it from a hobby store. You are going to pay anywhere from $300 or more for a good Nitro/Gas powered RC though. It's an expensive hobby but well worth it. A lot of fun! The Traxxas Nitro 4 Tec is around $400. You can get used ones on ebay pretty cheap. But the 4 Tec will do around 70mph on the road. Check out some YouTube videos of the RC's you are interested in before buying. That will give you a better idea of what you are spending you money on. Good Luck and have fun!

That all depends on what you mean by "good". Do you mean:

- Best selection? May be expensive and have poor service.
- Best prices? May have poor service and small selection.
- Best service?
- Best reputation?
- Fastest shipping?

… or some combination of these?

I would say visit your local hobby store and see what they carry because they can support you with parts because you dont want to order online to wait days for parts if you dont have to. Stick with brands like Losi, Associated, and Traxxas. Parts are readily available and they are considered to be quality hobby grade RC cars. Ask more at http://www.brokeRCracer.com
