No you can't it'll blow up/over heat because the fuel isn't thick enough to lubricate the motor hence it'll blow up/over heat. There are ways to convert your motor to run on petrol/ and or diesel but they r very expensive. i suggest that if you can't find any nitro for it then you might have to sell it. There are RC cars that run on normal petrol but they are in 1/5 scale and a little dearer. before you get to disapionted look on the internet and see if there are any hobby shops near you.

And about changing your engine to petrol yourself well your probably better to just run it on petrol it's more likely to work. lol. (If you do run it on normal fuel run it on diesel and put a tiny bit of oil in it) warning that would still probally not work.

i'd say your best option try and get a refund or sell your nitro and buy a brushless electric car (brushless is the motor type) Electric is probably better suited to your climate.

here's a sight that has brushless cars for under $300 (very cheap!!) make sure you do get brushless cause normal electric motors don't last that long (1 month - 6 months) brushless lasts for 5 years more.
