are nitro(gas) rc trucks/cars reliable?

how long do the last.

in short they can be.

it seems to depend on how you run them and maintain them.
I was into electricfor years before i got my first nitro, I always enjoyed working on RC's as much if not more then driving them. so gas was great for me lots to play with things to change. gas is messy compared to electric but IMO very worth it!

just read up on whats out there and whats good from others experience to get a better idea if you want to go gas or electric.
