Mini-z RC Car Racing, IN-CAR CAMERA!

Kyosho mini-Z racing at Hobbytown USA. 1:28 scale hobby level RC cars, modify and race. I attached a small camera to the chassis and went racing to capture some really neat angles.
My car is the '63 corvette. I custom fitted a plastic model car body to fit the mini-z chassis.

Like I said just …
Like I said just need to make sure you put in the right parts to step up the voltage for the motor and it would work. Also placement of the batteries is key. I actually realised I did this to an Xmods car cept i put a 9V instead of 4AAAs. it did increase full output by about 140% and it did achieve a far superior Accel and Top speed and even increased handeling because a 9V weighs less than 4 AAAs lol. Shame I totaled the thing during a race meet…it was ugly and involved falling off a table…

the weight gain …
the weight gain with 2 extra AAA batteries is going to make a Mini-z unstable. it might make it faster, but it takes more than being fast to win races. Adding more voltage to you Z could not only dmagae the motor but also damage the car's ESC and internal electronics. But if you want to try it, go fot it!

Silencer565 @ 4:01 pm

lol i would mod …
lol i would mod mine with 6 batteries instead of 4. I modded a Zip Zap Micro rc to run off two of the nickle cads instead of 1 and everyone was like O_o how is it going that fast!?! Granted i had to had in a few extra parts to prevent it from overloading the electric engine but hey thats what electronics class was for right? XD

Actually they are …
Actually they are about $120 bucks, sometimes cheaper. Yes, you might be able to buy a nitro car for that $, but you can't race a nitro car indoors on your lunch break at work with your friends. Thats the appeal of mini-z's. You can race anytime anywhere. Only cost is a few AAA batteries. No gas, no mess, its just cheap and easy and ready to race. All the mods and adjustments you'd expect in a 1:10 car, only it can fit in the palm of your hand..

iceman050890 @ 4:01 pm

nice,but I don't …
nice, but I don't think they are cheap to own the price is like 164 + it's like purchasing a 1:10 nitro car
