Nitro R/C Cars, help!?
Im looking to buy a decent nitro rc car, im looking for a good kind and a good site to buy it from, if anyone could help that whould be sweet
Hows about: http://www.speedymodels.com/nitro-sport-33-p.asp
That, to my mind, is a good car for the money. Traxxas is an excellent brand. (IMHO).
Or,HPI's similar offering; http://www.formbymodelshop.com/hpi-firestorm-10t-1137-p.asp
Or, if you have just sacks of money lying about; http://www.towerhobbies.com/products/associated/ascc0910.html
I presume you've run nitro before? Gotta hope so.
Have you considered brushless electric? It's all i run now. It's still an expensive technology, but my noname brand brushless electric truggy came in second in its class last race.
(1/10 and 1/8th offroad and powerplant)
I own and like; http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/A2012T.htm
Not too pricy, but as i say, noname brand. Get about Half an hour from the battery, 20 mins racing. Roughly the same as a tank of nitro fuel.
Ive seen; http://www.rccarsandtrucks.co.uk/1962_1_1342158.html
down the track as well. And it goes like a rocket. Bit more expensive.
Again, if money is no worries; http://www.rcpitstop.co.uk/traxxas-e-revo-brushless-mamba-rtr-electric-monster-741-p.asp
Is reviewed to be absolutely manic. There are you tube videos of it doing 65 mph. And claims of certain batteries doing 45 minute stretchs, if not longer. Sadly, ive not tried one, so i cant say for sure.
