there is allot of … there is allot of stupid people here. everyone knows and even the professionals the best racers cleaning trick is to spray the entire car down with "EASY OFF" its a household cleaner you can buy from any grocery store. it will degrease better then anything. then just wipe away! now you have a perfectly degreased car.
why are all you … why are all you guys marking this guy down? the tiniest spec of dust will lower the life of the engine. always use compressed air and blow out the cooling head before taking out the glo plug also.
Some advice here is … Some advice here is right, and some wrong.
This is how I clean my engines, with expertise;
(make sure the engine's cold before doing this)
While the plug's still in, spray down some de-greaser into the head. Let sit for 1 min, then spray out residue/gunk/grime with compressed air, THUROUGHLY wipe CLEAN.
To PROPERLY lube and maintain the engine after each run; unscrew plug, put 4 drops of after run-oil into the engine + 3 in carb. Turn engine around a few times and it's ready for storage.
First off: WD40 … First off: WD40 does no harm what so ever to the engine. It lubricates and keeps rust away. Read upon the facts before you post crap.
A bunch of racers use WD40 as a part of their engine-maintenance. Again; understand what WD40 is.
Secondly: (cold motor) while the glowplug's still in, spray down the top (around the plug) with f.instance WD40. Blast it out with compressed air, wipe dry. That's the PROPER way to clean out the head.
stupid dont … stupid dont spray with the glow plug off u dont want that crap in the head, put after oil in head glow plug back on then spray the heat sink. idiot newbs!
