Can I change the radio controller on an assembled r/c nitro car?

I am currently looking to buy an r/c nitro car, but i do not like some of the supplied controllers because of their shape ( trigger/pistol controller ).

Does anyone know if you can change the controller for the nitro cars, as i know you can change the controller for the electric r/c cars.

Yes you can change it.
They are designed that way as the most practical design since a nitro car only needs throttle and steering as they do NOT have reverse, and stop.
