Well, my nitro sport uses a .15, and gets about 40 mph absolute max. Reliability i couldnt say, it looks fairly bargain bucket, so quite a lot of plastic. Google some reviews. As to the third question, that depends on a whole load of things. Like, how rich your running it, how often a week you use the car etc. A Gallon should last a fair while.

They do make a larger scale vehicle with a similar size motor as a gas weed-eater. 23cc I believe. Usually about $1000 for a RTR though.

now over heating you mean it runs too hot and stalls? if thats the case richen the mixture a little there is a little gap you need to hit to give you peak performance but wont over heat your motor even if its running hot and hasnt stalled slightly richen the high speed needle on the motor and that should take care of your problem
