What is the difference between Nitro RC Cars and Electric RC Cars?

The source of motive power is the primary difference.
Nitros require fuel, electrics require batteries, that in some cases are expensive to replace when they wear out.
Nitros are somewhat noisy, electrics are quiet.
Nitros tend to be faster.
Electrics may have reverse, which is unusual with nitros, but not unheard of.

advantages: fast. thats about it.
disadvantages: loud, dirty, and gas is expensive

electric:
advantages: as fast as the nitro ones, quiet, clean
disadvantages: (good)batteries are expensive, can be a pain to set up sometimes.

overall I think electric is better
