what do i need to know about nitro rc cars before i get one?

i am hopefully getting a nitro rc car soon but i have never had one only electric rc cars so what do i need to know particular for nitro rc? i am getting the tornado s30 nitro rc buggy

If you are buying it brand new then you need to check what you are getting with it most don't come with glow starts and fuel and some don't come with radio equipment make sure to read the manual about breaking it and setting high/low speed mixtures (after breaking in) as you can damage the engine if this is not done properly other than that you should be fine just watch out for curbs most of these go too fast for their own good
