In a electric rc car what difference does motor turns make?

Also if you know i have speedgems 2 motors (sapphire) and i would like to know how many turns they are?

not sure, i think it could be a 17 turn , does it say 17t, or 12t, anywere, if you see that, the number[17, or 12, 15,] thats the turn number
