how to get enough thrust from a rc car motor to fly a helicopter?

I have made a helicopter using thermocol and 2 RC car electric motors
the problem is that i cant get enough thrust to lift it above the ground…………………………………………please help/
ive burnt my thumb b'coz i did tht

higher voltage batteries. wire them in series, but be careful about your circuits burning.

Well, motors don't generate THRUST, they generate TORQUE… so the question is: What can you do to get your ROTOR system to generate sufficient lift?

Obviously the SIMPLEST fix is to get electric motors with higher torque. NEXT simplest would be to reduce weight in other components.

You might be able to correct the problem by adding a gear-box to increase the RPM's at the rotor-head, OR by changing your rotor blades to a more efficient lifting blade.

I understand that Thermocol is a expanded polyethylene foam. Now HOW are you using TWO motors ? Are they geared together, or is one running the MAIN GB and the other the TAIL GB ?

GOOD LUCK !!
