how can i upgrade my electric rc car?

i have a 1/10 4wd & 7.2v 1800 mah ni-cad battery. its a himoto rc car.
i am a newbie rc car driver and i wanted to upgrade my car motor wheels and servo. i tried using pvc piping for drifting tires but its to "slippery" so i think i should get the rubber tires with no treds on it but i dont know how to upgrade my motor and servo

You can't upgrade the motor but what you can do is get a bigger battery. It will extend the run time and give the rc car an extra boost.
