Go watch some ' … Go watch some 'brushless revo' vids. I have two nitro cars (Revo and 1:8 mayhem buggy). I stuck both of them on the shelf and got a brushless revo. They are faster, longer runtimes, lighter, quiter, no maintenance. I still like nitro, but on a track, nitro can't compete with brushless.
These aren't made … These aren't made to be the fastest R/C's. They appeal to modelers who want realism and durability. Pump gas is also a big plus, so it is more convenient.
The only downside I can see is parts availablity. Your regular hobby shop won't stock these things.
